CommonSense Business Solutions, LLC (CSBS), located in St. Louis, Missouri, is owned by Pat McIlvaine. Founded in 1998, CommonSense Business Solutions has been a resource for businesses of all sizes and all industries in the St. Louis metro area. CSBS offers a variety of business planning services including help in organizing the startup of a new business venture or expansion projects for an existing business and preparing a comprehensive yet consolidated Business Plan for those projects. CSBS can review an existing Business Plan and advise you on any appropriate edits or updates that you can do yourself or you can contract with Pat to do them for you.

While not involved in the actual certification process itself, Pat can prepare the application packet for eligible woman-owned and/or minority-owned businesses seeking certification as a WBE, MBE or DBE. While being certified doesn’t carry any guarantees, it is a credential that can be advantageous when seeking new business or bidding on contracts. CSBS is a WBE-Certified business.

Also offered are hourly private consulting sessions where an objective, third party perspective or advice is sought. Other ancillary services offered on request include Performance Tracking, Administrative support services, and Mobile Notary services. After more than ten years in business, CSBS has become a reliable referral resource, as well.
